Seamless Integration Behind Any
Firewall
Regardless of whether you choose a SonicWALL
gateway appliance or a third-party firewall,
remote access is as easy as can be. Because
the SSL-VPN appliance operates separate from
the firewall function, the SonicWALL SSL-VPN
series is compatible with virtually any
firewall on the market
Clientless
Connectivity
Remote users don't have to worry about
installing and configuring special client
software. They just launch their browser,
and gain access to a customized portal that
shows the resources they are authorized to
access. From that portal, the remote user
can gain access to e-mail, files,
applications, and internal Web sites.
Enhanced Layered
Security
when deployed with a SonicWALL network
security appliance, you get enhanced layered
security and deep packet inspection
technology, to fully inspect all traffic for
content-based threats such as viruses,
worms, Trojans, spyware and other malicious
threats.
NetExtender Technology
NetExtender adds more power to the SSL-VPN
model, adding capabilities such as seamless
and secure access to any resource on the
corporate network, including servers or
custom applications. NetExtender is not a
fat client—it is a thin client that is
pushed transparently onto the client's
desktop or laptop and installed
automatically to facilitate this broader
level of access.
Granular Policy
Configuration
The ability to grant granular access
controls gives the administrator the power
to provide employees, partners, and clients
with remote access to very specific and
defined resources, according to the needs of
each remote user.
Personalized Portal
Each end-user is presented with a highly
personalized portal, which reflects that
user's own particular needs and displays
only the resources that are available to
that user based on company policy.
File Shares Access
Policies
Existing policies via IP address, address
ranges and network objects apply to CIFS.
This allows for greater ease of use in
setting up access through the SSL-VPN
appliance, rather than having to go to each
server to set up permissions for each user. |
